Lectures in Galatians
Paul Thompson was born to missionary parents and founders of West Indies Missions (later becoming World Team) in Cuba, where he spent his formative childhood years. He studied at Prairie Institute in Canada, at Columbia International University, and Denver Seminary. He went on to pioneer the church planting efforts of World Team in Madrid, Spain, where he was instrumental in establishing a cluster of churches. The “organic” model for church planting, which he developed, aims at producing spontaneously reproducing churches. In 1985 World Team leadership commissioned Paul to establish what is now known as the World Team Institute, a month-long intensive training program for new and veteran church planters. World Team Institute continues to influence those who are looking for hands-on training in establishing churches cross-culturally.
Paul has published numerous articles in national magazines, has traveled as a consultant in church planting throughout Europe, Africa, South America, and the Caribbean. Paul continues to make frequent visits to Cuba and is regarded as a chief catalyst of a growing movement of church multiplication on the island. Paul is involved in hands-on leadership in the Dominican Republic, where he resides. He and wife Carol are parents of three grown children, all married, and proud grandparents of two boys and three girls.
Paul is a devoted and intellectual student of the Bible as well as a dynamic, passionate teacher and leader. Paul's pastor's heart and love of the Gospel will captivate and enlighten you as you listen to these lectures on Galatians. Originally given at at an international World Team mission-wide conference for their missionaries and leaders, they are as relevant and new today as they were then. We are confident you will enjoy and appreciate Paul's teaching and come to respect, admire, and love him as much as we here at Kingdom Seeker Ministries do.
